Is it accurate if the police vehicle is in motion? I think I know the answer but I want to know what you guys come up with.
Also; does anyone know the admissibility of a video/audio I captured while being pulled over? For example; if the cop said something that contradicts the ticket, can I use it in my favor?

I think only if he knew he was being videotaped. Also yes it is valid if the laser source is in motion. I am not sure if it is tied into the calibrated speedo of the cruiser, but I know it works

Take it to court, argue it with the Magistrate, depending on the state that's where you go.
but bring in any evidence, and Laser is dead nuts no matter the car moving or sitting still.
With my i've just taken them to court no evidence at all and just talked my way out of it.

Police lasers are accurate if the vehicle is in motion. Cruiser-installed lasers use the speedometer of the cruiser to offset laser differential.

Pretty sure you had to let the cop know you were recording. As for the laser it is sync'd with the car's computer.
How fast were ya goin!?????

You can bring Video evidence whether the officer knew you were recording or not.
I make it a point to ALWAYS say its being video and audio recorded whether it is or not. They act politer when you tell them that.

First question, Einstein says "what percentage of c were you going?". Actually, I think not - because it's rangefinding-based, it probably isn't.
Alternately, look at the info here . Also, look at the section about "sweep error".
Second question, very possibly. Evidence is evidence, as long as it can be entered.

It actually depends on the laws in your state. Some states have made it illegal to film a cop in he process of their duties whether they know they're being filmed or not. Just check the laws so that you don't end up getting charged with another crime while trying to get out of the first one.

Passed a cop going 82 on the opposite side of a highway in Maryland and when he finally caught up to me he told me he clocked me at 82. Talked my way out of the ticket though

My thoughts, exactly!
One always ask when we get ourselves a nice speeding ticket!
I know how you feel, OP!!
